International Product Manager
Position based in Mountain View, CA.

Job Description:
- Initiate new products and/or product enhancement projects to meet

Localization Coordinator
Position based in Mountain View, CA.
This person will be responsible for coordinating efficient, high quality
translation and localization for a variety of Google sites and properties.
This person will be expected to:
- Coordinate translation through internal and external resources.
- Work with engineers and product managers to deliver Google's international
site content and products on time and with high linguistic quality.
- Develop and maintain terminology glossaries and language style guides.
- Recruit translators and manage relationships with them.
- Create and execute creative solutions to achieve goals.
Responsibilities:
This person will oversee Google's translation and localization
support efforts for a variety of languages and products. Responsibilities
will include meeting product localization needs across multiple divisions
and product lines.
Job/Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign language equivalent in English, translation
and/or a relevant technical field.
- 2+ years project management experience working in Localization industry
preferred.
- Creative approach to achieve goals in a timely manner and with high
quality.
- Individual initiative and follow through.
- Track record of managing multipart projects involving outside resources

Manager, Localization and Global Content
Position based in Mountain View, CA.

responsibility for the processes, products, and quality of Google’s fast-paced,
highly leveraged localization processes and teams.

manager of teams? Do you excel at creating scalable, clear, streamlined
processes? Do you have experience with content management and localization

Responsibilities:
- Managing Google’s localization team, including performance reviews, career planning and recruiting new talent as required to manage varying work load.
- Establishing the team as a center of expertise and excellence for the company and defining team direction based on current and emerging organizational requirements.
- Project management, including resource allocation, capacity planning, scheduling and risk management.
- Leading the team in delivering updates to the site on schedule while achieving quality objectives.
- Budgeting and cost control for all localization processes and staff.

Job/Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. Ideal subjects of study: business, language, localization or translation.
- 5 – 10 years of management and / or localization experience.
- Experience with identifying architecture and infrastructure requirements to support increasing and evolving localization needs.
- Experience with vendor management, establishing budgets and tracking expenditure.
- Strong project planning and prioritization skills with knowledge of project management methods, practices and software.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and analytical skills and the ability to work well within a diverse, geographically distributed, multicultural environment and with varying levels of management.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast paced environment providing strong leadership skills and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in delivering globalization solutions desired.

Senior Market Research Specialist
Position based in Mountain View, CA.
This person will be responsible for supporting Google’s revenue generation
efforts worldwide through primary and secondary research efforts, data analysis
and conversion of raw data into compelling sales and marketing materials. Role
will include working with global research firms and other suppliers, managing
quantitative and qualitative studies, responding to requests for research, and
collecting and presenting data and analysis to address key business needs.
Responsibilities also include vertical and country-specific market studies,
providing proof-points and strategic insights based on analysis of internal and
external data.
Requirements:
- BA in market research, marketing, psychology, statistics or other related field.
- 4+ years of B2B/B2C market research experience or marketing communications role with global online advertising sales organization.
- Experience planning, conducting, analyzing, and presenting data from both qualitative and quantitative primary research studies. Familiarity with a variety of research methodologies.
- Experience with customer satisfaction measurement, customer segmentation analysis, advertising effectiveness research, and awareness & usage studies.
- Track record of successfully supporting sales initiatives through analysis and presentation of marketing data.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, using research to address business needs and making actionable recommendations based on research findings.
- Excellent quantitative skills, significant experience with survey design, sampling, and data analysis. Experience using statistical tools such as SPSS or SAS a plus.
- Must be extremely well organized, analytical and capable of handling multiple ad hoc requests for information simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze research data and translate raw information into actionable insights so that it can be easily understood and utilized by the entire organization.
- Proven history of self-direction, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience gathering and analyzing data from third-party audience research sources such as Nielsen//NetRatings, comScore Media Metrix, @Plan, etc.
- Knowledge of online advertising, ROI analysis & branding measurement.
- Exceptional writing skills a must (subject to testing).
