Finding a job
Finding a job can be a difficult and daunting task, but with some perseverance
and self confidence you will be able to find one. You need to have a careful
think about what kind of job you want.
Ask yourself:
• Realistically, what kind of salary are you looking for?
• What hours are you able to work?
• Are you happy to sit at a desk all day, or stand on your feet all day?
• How far will/can you travel to work every day?
• What length of contract would suit you best?
Having your priorities clear in your own mind will help you communicate
clearly with your future employers, and with employment agencies.
There are a lot of jobs websites and it can be difficult to separate the
wheat from the chaff, but there are plenty of good options.
