Buzz and Henry are getting the garden ready for a big party. They have the time, or money, to do a major landscaping job, but Henry really wants the garden too look nice, especially since he as a show called Henry's Garden and his guests are probably expecting it to look, if not perfect, at least presentable.
Producer Kimmie Haworth comes up with the simple solution of sheet mulching the existing lawn area to expand the flower beds. Sheet mulching is the process of laying down a barrier of some type of impermeable material, such as newspaper, landscape fabric or cardboard, to keep the lawn from growing through the decorative layer of mulch. Planting is the first step, after shopping.
The boys visit Navlets Nursery to select some plants that will adapt to the damp, shady conditions in Henry's Garden.
Some of the plants they selected are:
- Heuchera
- Ruby slippers
- Clivia
- Columbine
- Loropetalum
- Dicentra
- Japanese anemone
- Clematis
- Climbing hydrangea
