The Locanda Armizo, an antique residence of Venetian merchants now converted into six welcoming rooms finished in typical Venetian style. The word 'armizo' in the old Venetian language, means 'mooring.The hotel is, in fact, in campo San Silvestro, one of the most beautiful and characteristic piazzas of Venice, only two minutes from the Rialto Bridge and only a few steps away from the Gran Canal, where in ancient times ships used to moor in order to unload their merchandise from all over the world for selling at the Rialto Market. The zone is really central, but the tranquillity is absolute. From here it is easy and quick to reach all parts of the city.
