Where is the Best Credit Card Offer?

Is There Really a "Best" Credit Card Offer?
It's hard to determine the best credit card offer available today. With so many consumers, each with their own set of needs, searching for credit cards, "best" is often difficult to define.
Every credit card has its own set of benefits and features designed for the unique consumers that will use them. As you search for a credit card offer, you will undoubtedly be inundated with flashy ads boasting the "lowest interest rate" or "highest cash back allowance." With all of these distractions it will take some lengthy research to find the credit card.
You'll need to wade through the many types of credit card offers, secured or unsecured, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Is it cash back you are looking for? Then maybe you should consider what a Discover has to offer. Do you want a fixed APR, a low interest rate or a longer grace period? All of these points should be taken into consideration.
Where Do I Look for the Best Credit Card Offer?
With the massive technology available to many of us today, a basic search on the Internet will turn up more than enough credit card options for you to muddle through. And as if the Internet didn't supply enough information for you, without a doubt, on at least a weekly basis, credit card companies are filling your snail mail box with every credit card offer they can muster. These companies will pull out all the stops to offer credit to nearly everyone.
Most credit card companies will offer credit to almost anyone. If you fall into a few basic guidelines, 18 or older, have a job and a U.S. resident, you are free to respond to a credit card offer, chances are you will receive one, with at least a minimal credit limit.
What is the Best Credit Card Offer for "Me?"
The answer to this question depends on what you are looking for in a credit card. Several factors should be considered before making a final decision:
1). Finance Charges - these are based on a couple of things, interest, finance charges and any other fees you may incur per year;
2). Grace Period - this is the amount of time you have to pay your bill in full before finance charges rear their ugly head;
3). Annual Fees - some credit cards have no annual fees, others are upwards of $99 a year;
4). Transaction Fees - These fees typically pertain to cash advances. When at all possible, avoid taking a cash advance against your credit cards - the fees will kill you!
5). Higher Interest Rates for Late Payments - Don't pull the wool over your eyes with 0% or low interest rate credit cards, likely they are too good to be true. Credit card companies may offer you a great interest rate, or none at all, to lure you in. What they don't tell you is, miss one payment or be late, and your interest rate could skyrocket to more than 18%!
6). Perks and Advantages - Some credit card companies will offer airline miles, cash back or discounts for hotels. But remember - there is no such thing as a free lunch. Don't choose a credit card based on perks alone - you may be disappointed.
