We encourage ALL libraries with an entry in ALG to subscribe to the ALG
email discussion List.
To subscribe to ALG, follow these steps:
If you wish to avoid having to remember a plethora of passwords, why not
make your ILRS password the same as your ALG password?
To change your password in ILRS, follow these steps:
- Search and find your Library's entry on the Directory
- Click on the 'Edit this record' link at the bottom of your entry
- At the prompt, enter your library's password and select the 'Change
password' option from the drop-down list of update options then click 'Login'.
- Enter your new password in the first window, then enter the same word
again in the second window
- Click 'Change password' and wait for the confirmation message. Your
password is now changed.
To change your password in ALG, follow these steps:
- Search and find your Library's entry on the Gateway
- From the summary details screen, select the red 'More Details' link
to view the full directory details of your library
- Click on the 'Edit this record' link at the bottom of your entry
- At the prompt, enter your library's password and select the 'Change
password' option from the drop-down list of update options then click 'Login'.
- Enter your new password in the first window, then enter the same word
again in the second window,
- Then select Change password and wait for the confirmation message.
Your password is now changed.
Those of you on the ALG email discussion list will have recently
received an email encouraging you to update your entry.
Please take the
time to update your library's entry in the database. The database is only as
good as the currency of the information in it. .
Email
alg@nla.gov.au if you have any problems
with your password for online update.
If your details are correct please bring up your record and click on
'submit these updated details' so that the update date changes.
