 After a respite in the desert town of Al Kufrah, Libya, trucks carrying U.S. humanitarian aid continue on 2,800-kilometer journey to refugee camps in Chad. A total of 6,540 tons of food aid is currently being transported via the Libyan corridor.

 Donated by the U.S. Government, the food aid is a complete food basket, which includes sourghum, cornmeal, lentils, vegetable oil and corn-soya blend. The shipment allows WFP to provide the 200,000 refugees with almost all the commodities needed for their daily diet over a two-month period.
