Worth the extra dollars I use the Canon BCI-3e ink cartridges for my Canon i900 photo printer and the results are very good. I tried the more inexpensive generic inks, but noticed a decrease in quality for prints, especially photo prints. It is definitely worth the few extra dollars to use these original Canon inks, and buying the 4-packs makes sense, since any cartridge can run out at any time. The 4-pack means I'll always have a spare when I need one.
Don't be pennywise and dollar foolish! Stick with OEM and don't experiment with generic brands; it isn't worth it. I use this product on the S500 primarily for CD labeling...lots of graphics and color. Reproduction is excellent and I get my $$$worth. When you get the pop-up window stating that the ink is low for one color, don't think it is empty. Far from it....it can go several days with the pop-up still on low until it is bone dry.
works pretty well for my canon F-80 i have a canon f-80 and i do quitea lot of printing, copying and scanning. I have always used genuine canon and these inks are pretty good and last a while. The colors etc. are great and they are not so pricey compared to other after market manufacturers.. i would say around 10-12% more. since, these cartrides are less than 10$ each, that's worth using OEM inks.
