Enjoy Your Garden When You Work at Home
When you work at home, you are really one of the special people. You get to enjoy your home and garden and someone pays you to do it. If you had to disappear into the workforce every day, the only ones to enjoy your handiwork would be your neighbors. And that is not a good thing.
Work at Home And Reduce The Stress In Your Life
If you really want to live longer, find a way to work at home. Young mothers, especially, should explore any avenue possible to do so.
It won't get rid of all your stress but you will be able to:
1. Say goodbye to getting up two hours earlier to dress and deliver the children to day care.
2. Say goodbye to morning rush-hour traffic.
3. Say goodbye to working eight hours for someone else on their terms with limited rests and overloaded in-boxes.
4. Say goodbye to evening rush-hour traffic, after picking up the children and running errands.
5 Say goodbye to late dinners and evenings spent cleaning the kitchen, bathing the children, doing laundry, and then falling into bed, exhausted.
To Work At Home, Take It A Step At A Time
Finding the best way to work at home isn't as difficult as it may sound. The first step is to figure out what you can offer the world through either a service or craft. Be ruthless in your personal search -- but kind to yourself. We all have a tendency to undervalue ourselves. As you go through your day, think of everything you are doing that you would be willing to pay having someone else do for you. If you need additional training, join some local classes or find something online.
Next, check out the local phone books for any competition. Give them a call, as a potential client, and find out what they charge for that kind of service and what training, if any, is required. Don't forget about extra supportive services offered, as well. Can you do them or would you have to outsource? Then, check out the Web for your competition and pay attention to how they market themselves.
Start slowly. Offer your service or product to friends and family on a trial basis to see how it's received. Now, this is the important thing: take the time to figure out to the penny what it actually costs you to bring a completed service or product to your customer. Be honest. You'll have to include all your time from start to finish, plus packaging, for any products you offer. That means thinking time, too. And, then, ask yourself the crucial question: Is that what I want to be doing for the next five to ten years?
When To Quit Your Day Job And Actually Work At Home
You'll know it's time to quit your day job when your work at home income exceeds your paycheck and you have work scheduled for the next six months. Then, go for it and good luck!
