Thayer's Wedding Menu Options

Meals may include as many courses as you like, from appetizers to only dessert. If you have a favorite something and it is not listed, let us know, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

All prices are per- person with no reductions for children's portions. Beverages, Minnesota 6.5% state sales tax,  an automatic 20% service/gratuity charge and the dining room or tea room rental are additional.

You my order ala carte from the items listed below or we will customize a meal plan that includes the dining room rental, an appetizer sampler, soup, salad, main entree, dessert and beverage for $65 per person plus tax and service/gratuity.

Choices below are $19.95* per person. Beverages are additional.

  1. Beef Wellington served with a white and wild rice pilaf served on fresh spinach leaves (this Wellington has no foie gras)

  2. Roast Cornish game hen, white and wild rice, fresh greens and raspberry sauce

  3. Baked Hawaiian Breast of chicken, served on white rice with fresh pineapple, green and red peppers, and maraschino cherries

  4. Baked Salmon served with oven browned new potatoes and sautéed fresh vegetables 

  5. Hand rolled Chicken Kiev with wild rice pilaf served upon fresh spinach & topped by an orange glaze

  6. Baked Vegetarian Lasagna (can be made with pepperoni) made with ricotta and fresh grated parmesan cheese

  7. Roast Pot roast, mashed potatoes & gravy, and steamed vegetables

  8. Vegetarian Pasta Alfredo

  9. Roast Pork served with an orange sauce, mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables  

  10. Roast Turkey, with stuffing,  mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables and cranberries 

  11. Baked Virginia Ham, sweet potatoes and mixed greens

Our portions are large. Other entrees such as Roast Prime rib of beef, lobster Newberg, Filet mignon, Shrimp, New York strip steak, Coquette St. Jacques, quail and roast duck are available for an additional charge.

 

You are welcome to have as many entrees as you like for your meal, but we suggest having only one. A $15 per person charge is added per entree, to the entire party when more than one entree is selected.

*Please Note:

  • All prices are per- person with no reductions for children's portions.

  • We add 6.5% sales tax and an automatic 20% service/gratuity charge to everything served. 

  • Menu prices do not reflect room rentals. 

  • Private functions are pre-paid.  There is a $1000. down payment necessary to secure your event's date. Only after the down payment has been received by Thayer's, will the date belong to you. 

  • Remaining event balances are due no less than fifteen days prior to the function.

  • The fee to rent the dining room is $150 per hour with a 2 hour minimum or $500 for all day. 
  • The fee to rent the Parlor/ tea room is $75 per hour.
  • When arranging for your event,  please consider the ages of  those attending. We will not permit those under 16 years to attend a murder mystery dinner. When children are going to be invited to other events,  you must clear it at least 5 days prior to your function with Sharon and a sitter is necessary for children 5 years of age and under. 
  • Private events are non-refundable and non- exchangeable. If it becomes necessary to cancel an event with 90 days or more notice, we will issue a rain check in the full amount paid. If less notice is given, unless you fill the date, all payments received by Thayer's become the automatic cancellation fee and no rain check will be issued.
  • Thayer's reserves the right to cancel any reservation for any reason.  Should a cancellation by Thayer's be necessary, Thayer's is responsible to return to the original purchaser the full amount paid to Thayer's. Thayer's will be held harmless for any additional costs or inconvenience the cancellation may cause
  • Prices and offers are subject to change without advance notice.
