Chuck Mangione has spent his five decades in music crafting some of the world's most recognizable melodies, and on the way he's become one of the world's most beloved instrumentalists. The legendary trumpeter comes to the Suncoast Showroom.

Mangione's inspired body of work has truly universal appeal thanks in large part to the inspiring nature of his music. Sure, he's sold millions of records and won multiple Grammy statues, but the golden touch of Mangione's trumpet extends well beyond the usual bounds of industry honors. His work has been featured before hundreds of millions worldwide at two Olympic telecasts—first as background during the 1976 telecast, then as the theme to the Lake Placid Winter Games in 1980.

The moving power of Mangione's music was again on display two decades later at an appearance in Poland, when Mangione discovered that his composition "Children of Sanchez" had become an anthem of sorts during the nation's struggle for democracy.

In further testament to Mangione's worldwide appeal, his trademark instrumental "Feels So Good" was the most-requested instrumental in South Korea for 20 years, and was also honored by a group of U.S. smooth jazz radio stations as their all-time #1 hit.
