London is a very large city and like any large city it has its
share of problems. It always make sense to be sensible with your
valuables, pickpockets will make a grab for wallets and handbags
given half a chance. In the evening stay clear of poorly lit
streets and only use black taxis not unregistered private cars.
If you are a
victim of a crime please make sure you contact the police and
ensure you get a copy of any crime report for insurance purpose.
There are a
number of homeless people in London the majority are of no real
danger although many will hassle you for change.
Given the
current world climate it is fair to say that London is considered
a terrorist target, sometimes London life can be disrupted by
security alerts, although majority of these alerts turn out to be
false alarms please remember all warnings must be taken seriously. |
