Bureau of Human Resources

The Director General of the Foreign Service and Director of Human Resources oversees the Bureau of Human Resources (M/DGHR). Led by Director General W. Robert Pearson, the Bureau handles recruitment, assignment evaluation, promotion, discipline, career development, and retirement policies and programs for the Department's Foreign and Civil Service employees.
