County Trap and Skeet Range
- Directions: From Kanoelehua Avenue in Hilo, turn on Leilani and proceed to the county landfill. Stay right and follow the road until you see the "Skeet and Trap Range" sign. Turn left and go a half-mile down a gravel road to the range gate on the right. The road turns slightly rough and is mainly just tire tracks. The range is at the end of that trail. Operating hours are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. No appointment or reservations are necessary.
