Registration Information

Presentations of four hours or less are free to U.S. Government employees and family members of all agencies. Enroll directly by calling the Training Division at 703-302-7268 or sending an e-mail to TC Training.

Courses
Eligible family members can register for Transition Center courses (except retirement courses) through the Training Division at the Transition Center. Employees must register through their Training Officer or personnel technician. Non-State employees and family members can enroll in Transition Center courses by submitting an SF182 (with fiscal data and correct billing address) through their Training Officer to the Registrar at the Foreign Service Institute.

All Transition Center registration, both tuition (STMS) and non-tuition, needs to be completed by 11:30 the day before the class. Please note that you must be pre-registered.

Security Training
Employees must register for all security courses through their Career and Assignments Officer (CAO) or training officer. Registration for family members may be executed by the family member or employee directly through the Training Division at (703) 302-7269 or SOS Training. Name, date of birth, Social Security Number, and daytime phone number of the family member and the name, Social Security Number, Agency, and post of assignment of the employee are required for registration.

Confirmation
The Registrar will not confirm registration. For confirmation of courses and workshops, please e-mail TC Training and for the Security Overseas Seminar, SOS Training.
