The Strip Las Vegas

When Las Vegas first sprouted like a great neon bloom in the desert all of the action was along Glitter Gulch. Over the years as the Glitter lost its sparkle and hotel developers looked for more room to build enormous resorts, they broke ground on a new Vegas playground. Today, "the Strip" has become the center of the Vegas universe. This is where you will find the biggest hotels in Vegas, the biggest shows, the biggest casinos and the biggest attractions in the city. As you move from one end of the Strip to the other your senses will be assaulted from every angle, as casinos use every imaginable ploy to catch your attention and draw you inside. That's good news for the traveler because it means that several of the more interesting attractions are actually free! The Water Show at Bellagio, the Lions at MGM, the Pirate Ship at Treasure Island and the erupting Volcano at the Mirage should all be on your "don't miss" list, and they won't cost you a dime.
