The Shannon Regional Fisheries Board has developed custom built
‘wheelchair friendly’ venues around the region, often in
collaboration with local development groups and local authorities.
Many of these developments were made possible from funding provided
by TAM (Tourism Angling Measure) in the late 1990’s. Custom built
facilities conform with the construction guidelines and standards
set out by a number of recognised bodies and are geared with angler
safety in mind.
Use the drop down menu on the right hand column to
locate trout fisheries which are wheelchair friendly. We would like to assist you
in any way we can, we invite your feedback regarding any special needs
requirements in the provision of wheelchair friendly facilities -
