Financing the ICPD Programme of Action: Ten Years Later provides a brief overview of where the international community stands in terms of financing ICPD a decade after Cairo. It answers such questions as: why fund population activities, what will it take to achieve the ICPD objectives, where are we now, who funds population activities, where is the money going, which countries benefit most from assistance, how much are developing countries mobilizing themselves, and how much do we need in the years ahead. The brochure, which also provides estimates of donor assistance for 2003 and 2004, can be used to advocate for the mobilization of resources necessary to implement the Cairo agenda.
