Jump to Another Day:
The Simple Life 3: Interns FOX The Simple Life 3: Interns
09:00 PM ET -FOX-
I personally could have lived a healthy, fruitful and joyous life without knowing how Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie would fare as average "working stiffs" traveling up and down the Eastern seaboard -- but I don't think I'm FOX's target audience. Oh well. Anyhoo, season three of "The Simple Life," subtitled "Interns," premieres tonight as Paris and Nicole board a Greyhound bus (so decidedly " not hot") en route from NYC to New Jersey. First, the girls take a crash course in auto repair; later, they are assigned to work in the mailroom of a marketing company, where the pair learns that climbing the corporate ladder in Jimmy Choo shoes isn't so easy.

Alias ABC Alias
09:00 PM ET -ABC-
Sydney (Jennifer Garner) and Vaughn (Michael Vartan) tempt fate a bit by posing as a married couple in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Their task? To track down a weapon that could potentially send society back to the Dark Ages. It's always suburbia, isn't it? The "marriage" quickly puts a strain on Syd and Vaughn's real relationship, but more pressing for global security is the fact that their picturesque community isn't as innocuous as it appears. Additionally, the community isn't even in America. Yes, I'm confused too -- but isn't that why we love the "Alias" so? Victor Garber and Ron Rifkin also star.

The Ashlee Simpson Show MTV The Ashlee Simpson Show
10:30 PM ET -MTV-
Ashlee Simpson seems like a pretty strong girl. I know that if I was exposed as a lip-synching pre-fab pop star on national television, then was booed by a crowd of thousands at college football's national championship game, I'd probably be spending my winter heavily sedated at a spa/hospital in Arizona. But not our Ashlee. She's counter-attacking her critics by premiering a second season of her MTV reality show. Good for you, sister -- tell it like it "really is." According to MTV, this season will deal with the "perks and pressures of mega-stardom" as well as the "Saturday Night Live"/Orange Bowl debacles.

HBO A Rape in a Small Town: The Florence Holway Story
07:45 PM ET -HBO-
I missed this new edition of "America Undercover" the first time around, but I feel it deserves a mention. On Easter Eve 1991, 75-year-old grandmother Florence Holway was brutally raped inside her home by a 25-year-old intruder. During the attack, she vowed that -- if she survived -- she'd make sure her attacker would be brought to justice. This is her story.

UPN The Road to Stardom with Missy Elliott
08:00 PM ET -UPN-
The "Road to Stardom" tour bus arrives in Nashville, Tenn., where the remaining participants are challenged to put their own "funky" spin on some classic country hits -- which they'll perform at a local honky-tonk. Later, Mona meets with each participant to find out which performer they consider the weakest; by episode's end, another hopeful is eliminated.

The WB Jack & Bobby
09:00 PM ET -The WB-
Jack (Matt Long) tries to reclaim a sense of normalcy after his brutal attack, but he finds that the injury may keep him from returning to his old life. Elsewhere, Grace (Christine Lahti) is blackmailed by a student who sees her leaving Tom's (Bradley Cooper) room.

ABC Wife Swap
10:00 PM ET -ABC-
Elizabeth Ghani is a 37-year-old "Earth mother" from Southern California whose family is up at 6:30 a.m. for meditation each morning. Paulette Stallone is a 40-year-old stay-at-home mom in New Jersey who babies her kids, thinks the man rules the house and spends eight hours a day cleaning. Havoc ensues when these moms trade families.

NBC Katie Couric Special
10:00 PM ET -NBC-
In "The 411: Teens and Sex," "Today's" Katie Couric presents the findings of a national survey of young teens' sexual attitudes and behaviors. Later, 18 teenagers from different backgrounds spend a week together discussing the topic of sex. I'm scared to hear what the national survey reveals -- it sure seems like "anything goes" nowadays. Yikes.
