24 January 2005 - Taiwan became a qualifying country
for PETS on 20 January 2005.
18 January 2005 - Savannah and Bengal cats are
not eligible to enter the UK under the Pet Travel Scheme. They are
listed under the Dangerous
Wild Animals Act 1976 and require a licence to enter the UK.
They must also undertake 6 months quarantine on arrival.
11 January 2005 - TAG Aviation have announced
new routes from Venice, Hanover and Bremen to Heathrow. In each
case, the plane must be booked, not just the ticket.
Air Transat Cargo have announced new routes from Toronto to Gatwick
(Winter season only) and Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver
to Gatwick (Summer season only).
Maersk Air Cargo have announced new routes from Frankfurt (via Billund)
and Lisbon (via Copenhagen) to Gatwick.
British Airways have announced new routes from Abu Dhabi, Dubai
and Hong Kong to Heathrow.
