The Stocker Wobbler adds the convenience of an artificial lure to the fish-attracting superiority of baitfish. The bait doesn't have to be alive, but it certainly will seem that way when rigged on the Wobbler and trolled slowly in either freshwater or saltwater.
You simply lift the metal point |
Insert it into the baitfish's mouth |
Slide the baitfish forward, release it, and you're done. |
Two small points push into the bait's lower jaw, and hold it in place, while the hooks, secured to sturdy stainless steel wire trail along its belly.
The interchangeable brass or plastic bill ensures that the bait remains horizontal while trolling and provides a lifelike swimming action. When fishing in shallow water, or when fish stay high, simply replace the heavier brass bill with the plastic bill.
The bill can also be "tweaked" to reach different trolling depths, and yes, the rig is downrigger proven. For best results use baitfish of more or less the same size as the Stocker Wobbler and troll slowly.
