The Penn 975LD is the first bait casting reel to feature Penn’s renowned International pre-set lever drag system. A 104 degree quadrant provides full free spool, strike and full drag position while Penn’s HT100™ drag washer and Rotary-Tuned stainless steel pressure plate provide super smooth performance across the range. The 975LD's Lightweight, one piece, forged aluminium frames provides a stable platform on which to assemble the precision components. This affords a high degree of rigidity throughout the reel for minimum wear and maximum life. The spool is machined from solid bar stock aluminium. Both smooth, contoured side plates are forged, machined aluminium.
