Women who wish to increase their cup size, whose breasts are
irregular, or whose breasts have changed due to childbirth
or weight loss, will find that this procedure can achieve
firmer, bigger breasts with minimal scarring. Silicone or
saline-filled implants are inserted through the areola, armpits,
or underneath the breasts and placed behind the pectoral muscles
in order to enlarge the breasts. The procedure can be performed
on an outpatient basis, but may require general anaesthesia.
Implants can rupture as a result of trauma or spontaneously
over time, requiring additional surgery. Following breast
augmentation, you can face the world in one week.
Mastopexy (breast lift)
Breasts that have lost their shape and firmness due to weight
loss, pregnancy or age can be restored to their original shape.
The nipples are repositioned higher on the breast and excess
skin is removed to eliminate sagging. The procedure can be
performed on an outpatient basis, but may require general
anaesthesia. Depending on the technique used, the procedure
may leave permanently visible incision scars, but you’re
ready to face the world in one to two weeks.
Breast Reduction (for women)
Using a combination of liposuction and surgery, large breasts
are refined to reduce their size. The procedure, which can
be performed on an outpatient basis under general anaesthesia,
may leave slight scarring. You can face the world in two weeks.
Breast Reduction (for men)
Enlarged breasts, which may be the result of heredity or
excessive weight, are reduced through liposuction and/or removing
excess glandular tissue. The procedure can be done on an outpatient
basis, but may require general anaesthesia. You’ll be
ready to face the world in three to seven days.
Abdominoplasty (stomach reshaping)
Sagging stomach muscles – due to pregnancy, weight
gain, or age – can be flattened and tightened. An incision
is made from hip to hip, excess fat and skin are removed and
the abdominal muscles and abdominal wall are surgically tightened.
The surgery requires general anaesthesia and, usually, a hospital
stay, and will leave incision scars, but you can face the
world in one to four weeks.
