Sea-Phuket offers the following 5 day RYA courses from 24^th March to the end of October starting 1700 Hrs Sunday to 1700 Hrs Friday or 1700 Hrs Wednesday to 1700 Hrs Monday.

All courses cost UK £350.00/person including Breakfast, Lunch and 3 Evening Meals on board (please advise any special dietary requirements), Course Completion Certificate and Accommodation on board for the duration of the course.

RYA Competent Crew Course
Duration	5 Days
Assumed Experience	Nil
Aims and Content	This Course introduces the complete beginner to Yacht Sailing. Relax and learn and, by the end of the week, you will feel confident to take an active role in this wonderful sport. Following the RYA syllabus, you will learn about sea terms, sails, rope work, fire precautions, safety at sea, overboard techniques, distress signals, weather rules of the road and helmsmanship.
RYA Certificate Requirement	5 Days, 100 Miles, 4 night hours.

RYA Day Skipper Course
Duration	5 Days
Assumed Experience	Students should have attained Competent Crew status or have equivalent experience.
Aims and Content	This course provides a significant step forward in improving sailing skills. You will learn how to plot and  navigate in local waters at all tide levels as well as more advanced sailing skills including sail selection, interpreting forecasts, mooring a yacht and dealing with emergency situations.
RYA Certificate Requirement	10 Days, 200 Miles, 8 night hours (approximately 50% of this will be gained on this course).

NOTE: If you are unable to complete some parts of this course, we will sign off sections of your Log Book, enabling you to complete the course at any RYA approved centre.

RYA Coastal Skipper Completion Course
Duration	5 Days
Assumed Experience	Students will have been in charge of a yacht in tidal waters and have completed several passages (day and night)
Aims and Content	This course is ideal for competent Day Skippers who would like to sail in more challenging situations. It will leave you an accomplished skipper and crew manager. Preparation and passage making at day and night will improve pilotage and navigation skills. The role of the skipper in adverse weather and emergency situations will be developed.
RYA Certificate Requirement	20 Days, 400 Miles, 12 night hours and 2 days as a skipper plus a restricted VHF Certificate. (Approximately 25% of these requirements will be gained on this course)
