Food and Wine Classes

Explore the enchanting world of culinary arts in the intimate and historic surroundings of the House of Hospitality in Balboa Park.

Class seating is limited to 16 for the cooking school and 25-35 students for the wine school. Cooking students sit around the Chef's exhibition kitchen in a bar-style setting allowing each participant a great view to observe the Chef's culinary techniques.

Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS)--beautiful, healthy animals available for adoption from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 at the first stop sign on President's Way (at Pan American Way). Look for the big blue FOCAS tent. All kinds of dogs and cats are available, and knowledgeable volunteers can answer questions and help you find the perfect pet!
