IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There are no digital cable boxes available from anywhere!!!
However, the cable boxes we sell are compatible with a digital cable system and will receive
all
of the
analog cable channels your cable provider offers. All of our cable descramblers are capable of going as high as channel 125. Any channels that you have
that are higher than that, for instance 200's and 300's, are digital and there is no way to get those channels with any cable descrambler.
If you are not sure if your system
is a digital or analog cable system, follow these directiosn to find out.
#1 if you do not currently have a cablebox issued to you by the cable company, your system is analog. Follow the directions below
to see if you are getting the minimum requirements in order for a cable descrambler to work on your system.
If you do have a cablebox
from the cable company, disconnect it and run the cable line directly into the back of the tv. Go through all of your channels from 1 all the way as high as your tv will allow.
If you are getting
colored scrambled wavy lines on certain channels (not static/white/snow) then you will be able to use one of our cable descramblers.
All cable descramblers are essentially created equal in that they will
all get the same channels. No one cable descrambler will get more channels for you than another cable descrambler. The difference in price is a result of different styling, some of the cable descramblers are
more up to date styling while some of them look like the older style of cableboxes. The Tristar MX, which is the most expensive, has some additional features that no other box has. That is what accounts for the
additional cost. Just because it is more expensive does not mean it will perform better than the less expensive cable descramblers. You can get a complete list of all of the additional
features by clicking on the picture of each cable descrambler we offer and comparing the features.
