Dependant on the circumstances, the supplier reserve the right not to replace the vehicle. Additional Drivers Additional driver fee is GB £ 3.50 (+ vat) per day. Administration fee If a reservation request is cancelled by the customer for any reason please note that the administration fee is non refundable. Age Requirements Minimum age is 23 years, the upper age limit is 75 years. Airport/Location fee Included. Booking deposit PLEASE NOTE: In most instances, a booking deposit of approximately 10 - 20% is taken on confirmation of the rental. The remaining rental amount is due on arrival Cancellation Policy While Bauer rentals do not charge a fee for the cancellation of a reservation, the administration fee that covers the automated payment process can not be refunded. Please note that no refunds will be given for rentals ended early. Also, local suppliers may levy a charge for 'no shows', so please inform us if you will not be collecting your vehicle. WE WILL NOT TAKE ANY CANCELLATIONS BY TELEPHONE. All cancellations must be made by email to help@bauer-car-rental.com. Cancellations will only take effect from the date received in writing by Bauer Rentals. Car Groups/Models Please note that particular makes and models of vehicles are not guaranteed. It is the requested group and specifcations (e.g. economy automatic) that are guaranteed. Condition of vehicle Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer. Cross border Policy Renters leaving the UK must purchase Europdrive at a cost of GB £ 75 + VAT. This is not availalbe for the PDAR or LDAR. Europdrive does not permit entry into: Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine. Deductible CDW Collision Damage Waiver (included in rates) reduces the renters' financial responsibility to the sum of the deductible. Theft Protection (included in rates) reduces the renters' financial responsibility to the sum of the deductible. The deductible/excess amount on the following vehicles is GB £ 500: MBMN, ECMN, CDMN, CXMN, IDMR, SDMR, CCAN, SDAR, IWMR. The deductible/excess amount on the following vehicles is GB £ 800: PDAR, LCAR, LDAR, FVMN, FVAN. Driver Licence requirements Driver's licence must be a full licence, (from any country) and be valid for the period of the rental. Driving licence must be in English and must have been held for a minimum of a year. If the licence is not in English then an International Driving Licence is required. Flight Information This is mandatory at all airport locations. Fuel Policy Vehicle is supplied full of fuel. Please, return full or refuelling charges will apply. Infant / Child / Booster seats Baby (0-9mths) / Infant (9mth - 4 yrs) / child seats (4-11 yrs) are available on request through reservations at a cost of GB £ 5.31 (+ VAT) to a max. of GB£ 31.86 + VAT. Please request seats, stating relevant ages, at time of booking. Mileage restrictions MILEAGE RESTRICTIONS ON VEHICLE CLASSES: Unlimited Mileage for car groups: A, B, C, D & E. All other vehicles: - 200 km per rental day. Additional mileage is charged at 25 cents per km (27 including tax) . One Way Rentals One-way rentals are permitted in UK and are free of charge for rentals of 3 days or more. 1-2 day one way rentals incur a one way fee of GB£ 15 + Vat. International one way rentals are not permitted. Optional Extra Insurances Additional optional Insurances available locally include: Third Party Plus - cost: £3.90 per day; This will increase cover from £250.000 to unlimited (TTP) Super Personal Cover - cost: £5.75 per day; Super personal accident and effects cover (SPAEC) Excess Reduction Cover - for car groups PDAR, PCAR, LCAR, and LDAR - Reduces Damage Waiver excess to £150; cost per day: £7.65 (1-6 days), £6.80 (7-13 days), £5.10 (14-20 days), £4.25 (21 days +); - for all other car groups - Reduces Damage Waiver excess to £100 for PDAR and LDAR. Cost per day: £6.37 (1-6 days), £5.52 (7-13 days), £4.67 (14-20 days), £3.00 (21 days +). Top UP Cover - Reduces Damage Waiver excess to £0, plus includes Third Party Cover, 1 Additional Driver, and SPAEC. COst per day: - for car groups PCAR, PDAR, LCAR, LDAR - £11.91 (1-6 days), £11.06 (7-13 days), £10.2 (14-20 days), £9.35 (21 days +); - for all other car groups - £11.06 (1-6 days), £9.35 (7-13 days), £7.65 (14-20 days), £5.00 (21 days +). Our Rates include Collision damage waiver and Theft protection cover, Third Party liability Insurance, Unlimited mileage, Airport / Location fees and Taxes (VAT). Out of hours policy Delivery or collection outside of locations office hours is available on request through reservations. Charges may apply. Rental counter Payment requirements Payment by credit-card only issued in the drivers name. Acceptable credit cards are: Visa, Amex, Diners, and MasterCard. Third Party Liability Third Party Liability - Third Party Cover is up to at least GB£ 250,000 for property damage and unlimited for personal injury. VAT 17.5%, subject to change. Young Drivers For young drivers aged 23 and 24 years, there is a charge of GB £ 3.50 (+ Vat) per day. |
