When you are first going over the design of your site it can be difficult to make decisions on layout, images, color schemes etc. The most important thing you must do is to think like the visitor. You most likely have done some surfing yourself and have run into things that you loved or hated about some websites. Your personal experience on the Net is very valuable information when thinking of the design of your own website. Make sure that you aren’t wanting to put elements into your site that would be annoying or unclear to the visitor. Look at your site with fresh eyes, not as the person behind it but rather as the person finding it. Above all appeal to the majority, they are your business.
