The first sight you have on it, you are about to like it: the streamlined and dark blue glass enclosed body shows you how elegantly and exquisitely it was designed. Not only this to make it a famous one among all the cruise ships on the Yangtze River, but also indubitably this is the one distinguished itself by offering best service and most entertaining shipboard life for her passengers. For years, M. V. Blue Whale has always been in the lead among those ships that receive highest remarks from our clients feedback. That is why we would like to rank it as a "strong buy" for your future Yangtze River tour.

Built in 1994 and last furbished in 2003, the five-star ship is 91.5 meters long, 16.4 meters wide with a draft of 2.6 meters. Two engines of 3480 hp make it capable of sailing between Chongqing and Shanghai all years around at a speed of 30 km per hour in still water. The Whale features 2 Presidential Suites, 6 Deluxe Cabins and 66 Standard Cabins with a total capacity of 148 passengers. The size of a standard cabin is about 167 square feet. All cabins have view windows so guests wont miss the scenery along the way. All the public areas and private cabins were well furnished and elegantly decorated. The glass-enclosed lounges and many observation decks are climate controlled to provide the perfect environment for viewing and other shipboard life. The facilities include almost everything a modern cruise ship should have: central air-conditioning system, international satellite telecommunication device, closed circuit TV, video cinema, bar, coffeehouse, gym, beauty parlor, ballroom, sauna and massage, etc. The business center completed with satellite telecommunication, typing and printing, faxing and coping makes it also an ideal place for some small or medium sized conferences.

The Whale is passionate about delivering an extraordinary combination of luxurious amenities, impeccable service and exceptional entertainment. Fine cuisine featuring fresh ingredients and local specialties enhance each meal in the beautifully decorated dining rooms. It is passengerschoice to go for a Chinese style or a Western style on a buffet meal type or a table meal type. Short shore excursions and many on-board entertainment programs are specially designed for touristss interests. On-board guides or featured guests will provide an enriching on-going narration of the scenic and cultural points of interests. You simply get far more value for your cruise dollar when you cruise on the Whale.

After a good trip, one usually returns home with lasting impressions of beautiful places and interesting people encountered. Boarding on the Blue Whale will be a good decision to guarantee this, as our clients in the past told us.
