I have to personally thanks to
several people who have participated in helping to supply the invaluable
materials for this website, especially Mr. Mark Standen who has
contributed many excellent photographs of Angkor Wat and surrounding area,
in addition to our in-house photos, from his great book the Passage Through Angkor.
|
Mark Standen is an English photographer who has specialized in
Indochina for the past 10 years. Originally trained as an architect, he
began his career in London. Later, driven by a desire to travel, he toured
China before working again as a designer in Australia. A passion for
photography came to the fore during these travels, leading to his decision
to become a full-time photographer. While engaged on photo-journalism
assignments in Cambodia he developed the concept of Passage Through
Angkor.
|
As professional travel agents, we
are proud to introduce our key personnel in Thailand and Cambodia, who will provide
his/her personalized care during your trip to Cambodia and Angkor as follow:

During an
annual fam-trip of 2000, three of Royal Exclusive's customer service
teams visited Cambodia.
The ladies from left to right:
Ms Suppatra (Lek), Ms Angkana (Bee), and Ms Charadrak (Chim).
The man on the 2nd left is Mr. Meng Hieng - the founder and owner of
Pich Tourist and Monviong Bookstore |
The two gentlemen from right is Makara
and Hun Socheat, who is the tour managers of our supporting team in Siem
Reap. This photo was
taken in front of Le Royal Hotel in Phnompenh
|
This photo
was taken during Royal Exclusive's officers take their scenic boat
trip from Phnompenh to Siemreap. |
At Angkor, Mr. Bros is our
tour guide manager in Siemreap who has vast knowledge of Angkor Wat and
the area. During the happy hour in Bayon - Ms Angkana tried to save a
monument from stumbling, and Ms Charadrak tries to imitate an Apsara (the
dancing celestial of ancient Khmer).
In addition, I have to thank Mr. Bunna, Mr.
Lieng,
and Mr. Kong who have provided many writing materials for this website.
|
Finally, the man on the
left overlooking beyond the Cambodia's frontier on top of hill is me... Aphisit Weerathippavong. I entered tourism
field since 1990, four years prior to the establishment of Royal
Exclusive Travel in 1994. This photo was taken during my survey to
Khao Phraviharn, a Khmer temple on Dangrek Mountain. |
