05/2003 - 12/2003 Lithia Dodge of Cherry Creek Aurora, COSales Representativen I used my customer service skills to build a positive relationship with customers while discovering their needs and wants. I used this information to find the best vehicle to suit the requirements of the customer and then demonstrate why the vehicle is the one they need to choose. Once the correct vehicle is chosen, I closed the deal with the customer maximizing profit to the dealership and maintaining a strong connection with the customer. I proceded to continously follow up with the customer to produce referrals and help ensure they purchased their next vehicle through myself and the dealership.
06/2001 – 05/2003 Intrado, Inc. Longmont, COComputer Operatorn As a Computer Operator I provided a friendly, knowledgeable interface for customers, and aid in the troubleshooting of customer impacting issues. I also monitored Intrado's national network of Public Safety Answering Points. In addition I provided tier one support in troubleshooting issues on any of our computer systems and networks. I assisted in the training of new employees on the job. I am proficient with TACL. I am familiar with both K-Series and S-Series Tandem systems. I am skilled with NetBatch and Pathmon. I have some experience with SQL, HTML, networking, and HP OpenView. I have created macros to assist in system checking functions and have created batch jobs to automate several functions. I created one batch job that saved a ream and a half of paper per day by emailing the Computer Operators when there is a problem on a set of servers instead of printing a full server list to review every 3 hours. I have completed many web based training courses provided by Intrado through Mindleaders.com including Business Communication, Business Management, COBOL, and several other computer related courses. 11/2000 – 6/2001 Searno’s Bar and Grill Boulder, COServern I provided a friendly customer interface in a fast paced team environment. I provided customers with information on any items they had a question about, and assisted in resolving any problems.
08/1999 – 10/2000 The Original Pasta Co. Houston, TXTrainern I provided a friendly customer interface, while providing support for other staff members. I trained all new wait staff and often assisted in all areas of the restaurant where support was needed including cooking, busing, and dishwashing. I always helped to keep up employee morale by challenging the staff to friendly internal competition with small rewards. I was training for Key Employee, where I would have been responsible for opening and closing management duties, when I relocated to Colorado.
02/1999 – 08/1999 Little Caesar’s Pizza Houston, TXAssistant Managern I provided full support in all areas of the restaurant. I provided a friendly customer interface. I operated the restaurant alone and as part of the team. I was responsible for opening and closing two stores at a time, including counting and depositing cash. I was forced to leave when my main store was closed leaving too few hours available.
