Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island is located on the east coast of Canada with a population of approximately 139,000 residents. The Island is 224 kilometers long and is connected to the mainland by the Confederation Bridge which is the world's longest bridge (12.9 km) over ice covered waters.

The only winery in PEI, opened in 1995 By John Rossignol. Due to the harsh climate some grape vines are actually grown in greenhouses. The grape varieties include Seyval Blanc,Marechal, Valient (greenhouse) , Ortega, Chardonnay, Carbernet Franc and Luck Koleman

As winemaker John Rossigal looks for clean stable products with balanced acids.

The winery uses hand painted labels created by John and local artist Nancy Perkins

Tours are available wine tasting is by donation given to local charity.
