Frequently Asked Questions
Think back to the day when timeshare
was just getting popular. People bought the dream right on the
spot from that salesman on the beach, and paid too much for it.
On top of that, they didn't understand that what they bought was
not "traditional real estate." When owners tried to sell
they soon realized there would be little or no profit returned on
the sale. It was not like real estate.
Timeshare IS NOT a bad idea. It just
has to be thought out carefully before the sale! There are many
useful resources made available
on this website. Utilize them all before you buy timeshare.
How can I tell if a company does
Internet Marketing? - The easiest way is to open up a browser
or Internet Explorer, Netscape, or whatever you use to surf the
Internet and make your way to Google, MSN or Yahoo. Simply pick
one and type key phrases like, sell timeshare, buy timeshare, rent
timeshare, timeshare, timeshare sales, or any related search phrase
you can think of pertaining to timeshare. If the company claiming
to be Internet Marketing shows up at the top of the list they are
indeed telling the truth. Remember not all companies advertise during
slow periods. Sometimes they take a break. Check more than one time.
What type of guarantees are out there?
We suggest the money back guarantee. This seems to be the most iron
clad guarantee available. It usually comes with some stipulations,
but what this day and age usually doesn't?
How long does it usually take to sell
a timeshare? That's the million dollar question in the timeshare
resale industry. The simple fact is nobody really has the answer,
and if they tell you they do, ask them where they got their crystal
ball. We do know that if you put your timeshare in front of millions
of people the chances are much better.
Should I rent my timeshare? - If you
are looking to offset your maintenance fees ocasionally or put potential
buyers into the unit to preview it then YES, renting your timeshare
is a good idea.
How much is my timeshare worth? Appraising
timeshare is tricky. Since it is only a week of time setting an
actual dollar value is tough. The resorts sell for a lot more than
a resale company, check with a resale website and look at some of
the same timeshare and see what they are selling for.
