MASTERWORKS – 400 YEARS OF FRENCH PAINTING - 16.12.2004 - 27.02.2005
This exhibition, presented by the Central Directorate of French Museums to celebrate the enlargement of the EU, wishes to capture the continuity and variety of four centuries of French painting (1600-2004), together with its contradictions and original features, its desires and utopias. “BUSO” CARNIVAL - 03-08 February 2005
On the last Sunday of the carnival period the Croatians living in the town of Mohács dress up in animal skins and glaring masks. Sounding their rattles and cow bell they create a cheerful atmosphere in the town.
