Guestrooms in the “Main House”
These four rooms open to a common hallway that extends down the center of the building. A formal parlor is at one end, and the dining room at the other. Central air & heat is cleverly hidden in each fireplace, and each room is individually controlled for your comfort.

Room 1 - Pontalba: One Queen Sleigh Bed. One of the most requested rooms, because it's unique "European style" bathroom is just a curtained corner of the room; with a very large antique claw-foot tub (hand-held shower). French doors open into the side garden. Huge windows bring in lots of light from the front of the house. Decorations include special mementoes of the three years the Innkeepers lived in the Pontalba buildings on Jackson Square.

Room 2 - Bienville: One Queen Bed. This less-formal room features a Queen bed. French doors open to the side garden, and offer lots of light during the day. Private bathroom features a rare half-size claw foot tub. This tub is too small for most people to bathe in, but it has a shower with Victorian-style ring shower curtain.

Room 3 - Napoleon: One King Four-Poster Bed, and One Twin Sofa-Bed. This very large room is perfect for any special occasion. It features a King sized four-poster rice bed, sofa, writing desk, and two Queen Ann chairs. French doors lead to the bathroom, which was once the carriage entrance for the house, and features a very large antique claw foot tub and shower.

Room 4 - Laneaux: Two Queen Four-Poster Beds This large room was once part of a the double parlor. It is the only room with two beds (both matching Queen four-poster canopy beds). Can accommodate three adults comfortably. Also included is an antique vanity dresser, armoire, and three comfortable chairs and a modern private bath with shower (no tub). Capacity is three people.

Guestrooms in the “Service Wing”
These four rooms have been created from the total renovation of the two-story galleried rear service wing. In the 1860's this wing provided a kitchen, wine-hollow, and servants' quarters. The service wing and the rear porch of the main house combine to surround the patio, garden, and the magnificent 300 year-old live oak tree.

Room 5 - Hearth - One Queen Bed. This room was the original Kitchen in the 1860's. Located just off the back patio, it  features a Queen bed, built-in desk, and a private bath with an UltraBath whirlpool tub (standard size tub) with shower.

Room 6 - Taluto - One Queen Bed. This cozy room is nearly-identical to the Hearth room, but on the second floor. Features a private bath with an UltraBath whirlpool tub (standard size tub) with shower.

Room 7 - Castaing - One Queen Bed. This room features a Queen shaker-style bed, writing desk, and armoire. The most striking feature, though, is the bath; wrapped in tile and featuring a huge two-person claw-foot UltraBath whirlpool tub with shower.

Room 8 - Charpantier - One Queen Bed. The bedroom features a beautiful Queen four-poster bed and a built-in armoire. An arched opening separates the bedroom from the huge bathroom. This luxury bath features a two-person corner UltraBath whirlpool tub, a separate glass-enclosed custom shower, and a custom tile vanity.
