Italian at its best! You won't be disappointed at Vincenzo's Italian Cafe located the the Fitzgerld's Casino & Holiday Inn. The menu provides a nice selection of classic Italian cuisine. Start with the garlic and tomato foccia or a bowl of homemade Italian chicken soup. They make individual pizzas for those who wants to pick and choose toppings. I wanted to try a pasta dish but they all sounded delicious, so I chose the combination pasta. Best deal in house! A little penne, hot raviolis, stuffed shells with a huge meatball and spicey Italian sausage on top. The stuffed shells proved to be my favorite. The cheese was smooth and creamy with a hint of spice in the marinara sauce. The portions are moderate so be sure to check out the dessert menu.
Staff is slow, from the hostess, to the wait staff, to the kitchen. But the bus staff was extremely prompt and filled your water glass without you even noticing. They have a small wine menu with some Italian chianti for those who wish to really get into the feel of Rome.
The atmosphere is open and a bit noisey from the nearby slot action and the open kitchen area. Prices are low but the food quality is high. Nice for a slow bite after the Fremont Street Experience.
