Talbot Heirs is a pleasant surprise for travelers accustomed to staying in conventional hotels. Located in the heart of downtown Memphis, just blocks from Beale Street, Talbot Heirs offers guests comfort in private surroundings that are as original, authentic, and spirited as Memphis itself.

Talbot Heirs is small and privately owned. All accommodations are spacious suites, which comfortably accommodate two. Each is equipped with a queen-sized bed, and all-cotton linens and towels are used exclusively. In each suite are a CD player, cable TV with HBO and other movie channels, as well as a full kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, cooking kits, and dinnerware.

If you provide a grocery list, we will have your kitchen stocked upon your arrival. A hair dryer, iron, and ironing board are provided, and laundry facilities are located on the floor. Dry cleaners, groceries, liquor stores, florists and newsstands are within easy walking distance.

At Talbot Heirs, you'll be well equipped for conducting business. Each suite includes a complimentary, continuous high-speed Internet connection. Each has dual phone lines with voice mail. Local calls may be placed at no charge, and there is no access charge for toll-free calls. On the first floor of Talbot Heirs is a business center including copiers, mail service and a drop point for overnight delivery services.

Talbot Heirs is convenient for both business and pleasure. The business district is only a short walk, as are courthouses, restaurants, cinema, theaters, sports venues, museums, health clubs, live music and Beale Street. There is easy access to a taxi stand, airport shuttle, and the trolley line.

A limited supply of exercise equipment--including a stationary bike, stepper, and treadmill--is available for use in your suite. There are also several health clubs nearby. Or jog or walk along the banks of the mighty Mississippi, just a few blocks away.

Travel writers describe Talbot Heirs in terms ranging from "quirky" and "offbeat" to "sophisticated" and "trendy." And while we won't argue with any of those adjectives, what we strive for is to be the kind of place you'll want to return to again and again.
