LE PROVENCAL
Restaurant Review
Reviewed: 11/30/00

Nice lunch on the Strip! Le Provencal, located along the cobblestone walk through the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is an great place to stop for a bite to eat at noon. They have a short menu with a wide variety of delicious dishes from Italy and France. Sandwiches, salads and large pizzas offer a taste of provencial Europe.

If you like garlic and chicken, order their pizza. It's big enough for two to share. Topped with fresh cheeses, hunks of white chicken breast meat, mushrooms and tomatoes. The soup of the day is hot and and excellent accompaniment to their sandwiches or salads.

Dinner is another story. The menu consists of European regional dishes but is all at a fixed price. The price is too expensive for a small on-the-strip restaurant with limited selections.

The atmosphere is light and airy with abit of old world charm. The food is very good but way over-priced for evening dining. The service is fair. This place works best for a nice lunch while strolling the new venues on the Strip.
