Suberin (the purest part of cork) that is blended with a proprietary polymer

maintaining a natural appearance. Ideally suited for wines which will benefit
from extended aging of 12 to 18 months. Not for
use with plastic plunger or hand lever corkers.

SYNTHETIC
For
best results use a floor corker.
Synthetic corks offer immediate
advantaves over natural corks as they will not dry out or shrink. This
eliminates evaporation and spoilage. Made from FDA approved resin, the
corks provide instant sealing and trouble free aging. You must use a floor
corker to instert these corks and extraction with conventional corks
screws is troublesome. customer report that they either love them or hate
them. Not for use with plastic plunger or hand
lever corkers.

QUALITY CORKS
Our first quality corks
are made of high quality, agglomerated cork which is uniform shavings of
cork. the addition of food grade filler produces a dense, well made cork
with chamfered edges. The corks are printed with a decorative grape leaf
pattern. We recommend the 1-3/4" size for wines which will be age up to
12 months like our Vintner's Reserve red
wine and chardonnay kits. The 1-1/2" size is perfect for young
white wines like and Island
Mist wine coolers and can be inserted with any of our corkers.
The No.8 size is for champagne
bottles and our 375 ml stretch bottles.
The No.7 fits standard
beer bottles and our 187 ml splits.
