Not sure how to do this - wanted to do a blog. But today (10/25/04) I realized that I have lost 10 lbs in the past week and a half!

What changed?

I started taking Udo's Oil.

They recommend 1 tablespoon per 50 lbs of body weight per day. For me, that would be over 4 tablespoons. But I have only been taking 1-2 a day. I weighed 210 lbs - my heaviest ever. I am six feet tall, so that is not super big, but I am definitely out of shape - and I miss being in shape. I either want to get down to 160 lbs, or else really pack on the muscle to justify the 200 lbs. that I am at now.

But when I was talking to my co-workers today and I mentioned that I had lost 10 lbs in the past week and a half, I realized how incredible that was. So now I am excited about getting in shape again.

Here is what I am currently doing, or plan to do.
  • Take 1 tablespoon of Udo's Oil with every meal.
  • Take 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) of Veruni Liquid Nutrition (good tasting, effective, liquid multivitamins) every day.
  • Avoiding sugar and refined flour. (except for ice cream. I love ice cream. oh, and donuts!) - but amazingly, looking back on the past week and a half, since taking the Udo's Oil, I have not eaten hardly any of either. I haven't had the desire to!
And now for what I plan to do:
  • Daily exercise (I will put up more info on this when I get it figured out exactly what I will do.)
  • Daily measurements (Weight, Waist size, etc. Last I measured, at 210 lbs, my waist was 49 inches. I wear a pant waist size 36. I want to get down to 32 or less. I had a 29" pant waist size when I weight 160 which is what I want to get back to.)
  • Be more mindful of what and how much I eat. I will eat slower and stop when I am satisfied, not when too stuffed to continue or out of food.
  • I will update my Weightloss Blog daily (weekly?) with progress reports and pictures.

So there you go. This is a very rough draft that I will be fixing up. But hopefully by puttin this up and sharing with everyone, it will be that much more incentive to get off my (fat) butt and get it done
