Bard Hall is a published author who has written hundreds of articles since
she began free-lance writing full-time in 1983. Her areas of expertise include
pets, hospitality, travel (including airlines), golf, and financial writing.
She considers pet travel to be a specialty. Her by-line has appeared in over 35 consumer and trade publications and web sites, including Cat Fancy, CATS Magazine, www.petplace.com, CATsumer Report, Good Dog Magazine, Pet Times, Golf for Women, Midway Monthly, Hotel F & B Executive, Inn Traveler, and the Chicago Tribune. She is the author of PURR-FECT PLACES TO STAY: Bed & Breakfasts, Country Inns, and Hotels with Resident Cats (Letters Etcetera, 1999, ISBN 0-9666989-0-8). She also created a Pet-Friendly Do Not Disturb Door Sign and Pet Information & Travel Card. She also wrote Midway Airlines...The First Ten Years, a book about the original Midway Airlines. Ms. Hall earned a masters degree in journalism from Northwestern Universitys Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, IL and a bachelors degree from Douglass College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She is a professional member of the Cat Writers Association. Ms. Hall develops her own story and book ideas as well as accepts article and book assignments.
