Summit County Whitewater Rafting- Whitewater Kayaking and Rafting: Whitewater is an adventurous recreational sport for those who love the speed, the challenge, and the competition of man against nature.
- Royal Gorge - Arkansas: An excellent section of the Arkansas river that is popular with many whitewater outfiters!
- Pinnacle Rock - Arkansas: The whitewater will keep you intersted all the way to the take out!
- Browns Canyon - Arkansas: If you have come to Colorado and want to experience a challenging whitewater river experience, this is it!
- Fractions/Frog Rock - Arkansas: Many beginer/intermediate rafters and kayakers opt to paddle this run.
- Granite/Pine Creek - Arkansas: Rafts are allowed on this section of river, but there are currently no commerical trips that run this section.
- Cache La Poudre: The perfect whitewater experience if you are near the Fort Collins area in Northern, Colorado.
- Colorado River: The Colorado River is an enourmans body of water that begins in Grand County, Colorado and ends somewhere in Mexico.
- Westwater - Colorado: A very popular permit access run that offers miles of excellent rapids.
- Ruby/Horsethief to Loma - Colorado: A nice flat-water trip to admire the scenery and stop and go on hikes.
- Grizzly to New Castle - Colorado: Have fun on this Class II/III 15 mile run. The perfect trip for the entire family!
- Shoshone - Colorado: Does this section of the Colorado always run?
- Pump House to Rancho - Colorado: Looking for a mellow commercial trip? This upper section of the Colorado is one of the most popular in the entire state.
- Gore Canyon - Colorado: Looking for bragging rights to a solid Class V run then this is it!
- Upper and Lower Blue Rivers: Spectacular canyon walls! The Blue River usually runs in the later half of the year when farmers are asking for water.
- Dolores: Rivers in southwest Colorado are usually warmer, with higher water, and show off their red rocks and deep canyons.
- Eagle River: Since the Eagle begins on top of Vail Pass, it is an easy access run from Summit County.
- San Juan River: Durango is a popular summer destination. The San Juan River can be seen by the Durango-Silverton train. A playboater haven!
- Clear Creek Canyon: If you are in the Denver Area and are looking for a fun whitewater experience then a raft trip on Clear Creek Canyon will do the trick.
