The Huong Giang Tourist Company was incorporated in 1976 in the central
Vietnamese city of Hue. The company's activities include hotels, restaurants
and other travel services. In the years since its inception, Huong Giang
Tourist has distinguished itself as a leading tour operator in Vietnam.Huong Giang Tourist currently owns: • 4-Star Lang Co Beach Resort, situated between Hue and Danang • 4-star Huong Giang Hotel in Hue • 2-star L'Indochine hotel in Hue • Bach Ma ecotourist compound located in the Bach Ma National Park • My An Sanitorium found in the Phu Vang Mineral Hot Springs • Air-ticket booking offices • Major share (51%) in the four-star Saigon Morin Hotel in Hue city • The sole 5-star international Hotel in Hue city (under construction due for completion in 2004) 
Huong Giang Tourist has a nationwide network of offices and support facilities,
with a presence in all major Vietnamese cities including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh
City, Danang and Hue. The company has established joint ventures, affiliated
investments and cooperation with domestic and international partners.Honors and Awards In 1999 the Vietnam National Quality Council awarded the company the Gold Prize of Quality in recognition of the company's customer service quality. The three star Huong Giang hotel was listed as one of Vietnam's top ten hotels by the National Tourism authority for three consecutive years between 1999 and 2001. Huong Giang Tourist is actively involved in the communities where we operate. The Hue People's Committee has recognized the company several times for its charitable activities. In 2000, the Vietnamese President awarded the company Vietnam's highest business honor - the Labor Heroism Award. This honor was in recognition of the company's business success and involvement in the community. Huong Giang Tourist is the sole recipient from the tourism industry for this award. Membership As a member of PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association), ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) and JATA (Japanese Association of Travel Agents) the company is committed to the highest quality service and integrity in travel. |
