(1) 14 DAYS KENYA AND TANZANIA WILDLIFE SAFARI
Day 1 Arrival Nairobi airport. Meet and transfer to Boulevard Hotel or Panafric in Nairobi city. Overnight at Boulevard Hotel or Panafric in double room with meals.
Day 2: THE ANIMAL MIGRATION Early breakfast and leave for Masai Mara Driving south along the Great Rift Valley to arrive Mara in time for lunch at Mara Sopa lodge. Masai Mara –Afternoon game viewing drives in this finest game reserve. Masai Mara The vast, open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These include over 1.4 million wildebeest which migrate in an enormous, straggling herd each year between the southern part of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again. With them move other herbivores such as gazelles and zebra, also looking for the best grass . Along the way they provide food for big predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs. Here we learn about and see first hand the intricate web of dependency that binds the different species together. Each animal has adapted to its own niche and to the other animals that surround it. Here we see Nature at its most subtle and, sometimes, most cruel as each animal struggles to survive and reproduce. On our morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara we have a very good chance of seeing all the major. Plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog and many species of antelope. Day 3 Nairobi – Early morning game drive. After breakfast, depart for the Nairobi by road with lunch en-route arriving late afternoon to check in at Panafric hotel for overnight with dinner and breakfast.
Day 4 After an early breakfast pick to Wilson Airport for flight to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch. Depart in the afternoon from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 5 Morning and afternoon game drives in the Tarangire Park, Meals and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 6 After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area's central feature is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. The Olduvai Gorge in the neighbourhood is the site where some of Africa's oldest hominid fossils were found. The Crater has the most predator population in Africa. Elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest and a host of other resident animals are to be found here. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 7 Morning and afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. Meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 8: THE GREAT ANIMAL MIGRATION After breakfast leave for vast Serengeti National Park, Africa's most popular game reserve. There is an incredible number of animals in this vast game park. Wildebeest is most popular followed by zebras. Elephant is notably scarce. Cheetahs and the rest of the big cats are regularly sighted in the plains. The few remaining endangered black rhino are restricted at the Moru Koppies area. The park is also famous for the wild beast migration, often described as the most impressive spectacle in the world. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Lodge.
Day 9: Morning and afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Lodge.
Day 10: After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park and set up camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Birdlife in the park is very broad. The home of tree-climbing lion, the park is also home to giraffes, hippo, zebra, and buffalo. Dinner and overnight at the Manyara Wildlife Lodge.
Day 11: After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive en-route Arusha town in time for lunch. Later transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Nairobi's Wilson airport at 4.00pm. On arrival at Wilson airport meet and transfer to Panafric Hotel for overnight with dinner and breakfast included.
DAY 12. Pick up at 8.30A.M from your Nairobi Hotel then drive to Tsavo East National Park along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway to enter the park through the Bachuma Gate at in time for lunch at Kilaguni lodge, game drive en-route in search of lions, girraffes, elephants, antelopes waterbucks, cheetahs, leopards and a variety of birds, until 1.00PM(1300HRS)time for lunch and check in at Kilaguni Lodge. An afternoon nap then start the evening game drive at 4.00P.M(1600HRS) until 6.00P.M(1800HRS).Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Lodge.
DAY 13.(TSAVO EAST-TSAVO WEST-AMBOSELI). Early morning breakfast then depart to Tsavo West National park arriving in time for the morning game drive that will take you to the Mzima Springs to watch Hippos and Fish at the observation point. Continue your game drive in search of leopards, giraffes, elephants and birds until 1.00P.M, time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Amboseli National reserve in time for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Lodge.
DAY 14 ( AMBOSELI ) Early morning game drives will reveal large variety of wildlife in the park, including some of the largest Elephant in Africa. Your Amboseli National Park Safari Tour offers you the opportunity to spot one of the extremely rare Black Rhino that live here. Day 1 Arrival Nairobi airport. Meet and transfer to Boulevard Hotel or Panafric in Nairobi city. Overnight at Boulevard Hotel or Panafric in double room with meals. THE LION SAFARI - Lake Nakuru, Treetops, Samburu, Masai Mara.
Day 2 Lake Nakuru –After an early breakfast at 0730 hrs, drive north out of Nairobi via the Rift valley escarpment with spectacular views of the worlds largest land rift, past mount Longonot to Lake Nakuru. This lake is famous for its flocks of over one million Greater and Lesser Flamingoes. The abundance of these birds is due to the alkaline mineral salts in the water which sup port vast blooms of the bue-green algae and diatoms on which the flamingoes feed. We also stop at a rhino reserve, where we have a chance to get up close to these highly endangered animals - the second largest land animals in the world. Lunch and afternoon game drive in search of lions. . Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill lodge.
Day 3 Lake Nakuru National Park. Depart Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Lake Nakuru exploring the dramatic Rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the gem in the necklace of the Rift Valley Lakes often referred as the Pink Lake for it's great masses of pink flamingos. Opportunity to see millions of flamingos besides thousands of other birds. Lake Nakuru is a Rhino Sanctuary and harbors other wild-game like the Lion, Waterbucks, Buffalo, Warthog, Hippo etc. Dinner and overnight Sarova Lion Hill lodge.
Day 4 Breakfast at 0730 hrs and leave for Samburu National Reserve – Drive north through Kikuyu land and across the equator into Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sarova lodge.
Day 5 Samburu National Reserve – Morning and afternoon game viewing in search of the Big five, Gravy's Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Graceful Gerenuk and Reticulated Giraffe. Game viewing drives at Samburu in search of the rarely found species of wildgame like the rare liver-red reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra, the long necked gerenuk, antelopes, beisa, oryx, blue flanked somali ostrich, vulturine guinea fowl and also braving lions on the grass, leopards in the trees and plenty of other plains game. In between meals there is optional visit to the Samburu villages if clients so wish. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sarova lodge.
Day 6 Mount Kenya Safari Club – Depart Samburu after breakfast driving south to the luxurious Mount Kenya safari club set at the foot of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon at leisure to enjoy club facilities. Dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya safari club.
Day 7 Masai Mara – After breakfast at Mount Kenya safari club transfer to Nanyuki airstrip for flight to Masai Mara. Arrive Masai Mara airstrip and transfer to Mara Sopa lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive in 4 wheel Drive vehicles Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge.
