An interdisciplinary program designed specifically for adult learners balancing work and life responsibilities
Individualized
Advising "We Help Adults Succeed!"
Individualized learning plans and advisement sessions are hallmarks of the Bachelor of General Studies experience. BGS students are assigned an advisor who supports them throughout their course of study to reach the goal of earning their bachelor’s degree.
Your Individual Learning Plan is the written summary you and your BGS advisor develop to chart the courses you need to take to meet ETSU requirements and your personal course selections. Your previous college credit is applied and you are given a copy of this written summary for future reference. You may meet with your advisor at ETSU campuses in Johnson City, Bristol, Kingsport, or Greeneville, over the telephone, or by e-mail.
It is our job to help adults succeed!

Let us help you complete your degree!
