THERMOMETERS
Temperature control is critical to the quality of beer, wine and cheese you produce. During the process you will need to set and maintain certain temperatures. The reason is found in chemistry. As you prepare a batch you are causing chemical reactions by applying heat.

DIGITAL THERMOMETER $24.95-
When speed and accuracy paramount, this fast reading, digital thermometer is perfect for homebrewing, winemaking, cheese makers, cooking and smoking.  A large clear digital display gives readings between -50 to 200 degrees C and -58 to 392 degrees F. HYDROMETERS
The hydrometer is used to measure the amount of sugar in you wort or must. This measurement is called the specific gravity. The first reading you take (prior to adding yeast) is the original gravity. Our last reading (prior to packaging) is the final gravity. These two numbers are used to calculate the alcohol content of the beverage.
