Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club, which has been recreated for Links by Sale Mihok, is located in San Antonio, Florida. When looking at the layout of this course you notice very quickly that there is water on every hole. The course follows a mostly circuitous route amongst the many ponds and lakes for the first nine holes and then circles around the other way for the last nine. The golf course is in essence a large figure eight.
This recreation, however, has not duplicated that route. The holes as they have been recreated here consist of nine holes going straight up the terrain and then a parallel nine holes starting from the bottom again. The hole shapes have been duplicated and most of the water has also been recreated. The only available pictures of the course show very sparse planting consisting of mostly palm trees. The course looks to be extremely flat with no panorama in the distance. It appears to be a typical neighborhood golf course played by all of us on weekends.
