2. Pets Health Requirement / Pet Health Insurance: Pet Owners might want to know if there is a veterinarian readily available in case of emergencies. Pet owners might also want to check if their pet health insurance is accepted.
3. Pet Sitter Facility Activities & Services: Pet Owners might want to know the typical routine of the pets day. What kind of activities is provided for the pets? What are the times pets are walked , can a pet play with its own toys & have its own pet beds. Pet Owners need to find out if the pet sitter offers other services like pet grooming, pet grooming supplies, Pet Training, pet nutrition products etc.
4. Kennels: Pet Owners need to ask if the pets are placed in kennels at any time? Are the kennels large enough for the pet, how long will the pet be in a kennel etc. Inquire about the other pets health if the other pets in the pet sitter facility are current on their vaccines.
5. Facility Outdoor access: Are the animals allowed outdoors? How often? How are they controlled? What kind of fencing is used?
6. Facility Transportation: Some pet owners might be interested if the pet sitter company can pick up & deliver their pet to specific areas. If transportation is provided, then pet owners might need to ask for how pets are grouped while transportation & how is their safety procedures.
7. Staff: Pet owners need to ask the pet sitter company ‘s owner's background and experience with dogs or cats? How many years experience? Are there sufficient staff? How are the employees trained? What is their background? Do all staff interact with the animals? Are there resumes or background information available on each staff person?
8. Pet Sitter Facility cleanliness routine: Pet Owners need to enquire about
What is their cleaning routine and frequency?
Does the facility smell? Is the equipment well-maintained?
How do they manage flea control?
How often pets are walked in the same area etc
9. Legal: Pet Owners need to enquire if the pet sitter facility has a pet sitter certificate of license and if the facility is bonded & Insured ? |
