Lorraine G Huber is an established contemporary abstract artist. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, she now lives and works as an artist near Edinburgh.

Creativity has always been within her and has been a driving passion in her life. She studied painting and sculpture at Eastbourne College and later (1990's) went on to establish The Loft Pottery & Gallery, where she sold her own vibrant mixed media paintings and unusual one off ceramic pieces, direct to art lovers. Her original modern abstract paintings and ceramics can be found in many private and corporate collections throughout the UK, Europe and the USA.

Lorraine is constantly exploring a variety of media, in her vibrant, expressive abstract paintings and textural collages. For her, art is an expression of her spirit and she seeks new ways of communicating her own emotional response to what she believes is the mysterious journey of life.

Her recent successful solo exhibitions, exploring the themes of life being in a ''state of flux'', convey her own spiritual response to her personal journey. As well as solo exhibitions, throughout her varied artistic career, Lorraine has also worked collaboratively with other mixed media abstract artists on Gallery installations/exhibitions.
