Bios: Chris Hesse (Drums)
Raised by musical hippies up in the hills of Humboldt County, I was destined to do something with music. My parents got me into piano lessons for a good 6 years until I decided I was angrier than that. I needed to bang on something so I picked up the drums. I played drums in a couple bands and guitar in a couple others. After growing restless and feeling hindered by the lack of a music scene in my hometown, I moved to LA with a friend who was enrolled at Cal Arts in Valencia. I almost had my fill of southern California when I answered an add in the paper that listed some good influences. That band became Hoobastank and the rest is history.
